Get featured: how coverage is earned.
The magazine's covers and features are selected by editors and are never sold. This page explains what the editors look for, what to send, and how the review works.
The mission
The Signature Talk studies the talk itself: the problem it solves, the pillars that carry it, and the story that earned the speaker the right to teach it. Features are written for the people who plan the stage.
The floor
Three things, non-negotiable: a real signature talk, professional materials, and a watchable film of the talk. Where an asset is missing, Sterling Stages can build it. What cannot be built is a talk that does not exist.
The review
Submissions are read by the editorial desk against the issue's departments: The Deconstruction, Behind the Talk, The One-Sheet Autopsy, The Event Playbook. Decisions are the editors' alone; advertising and directory membership carry no weight in them.
No guarantee
Submission starts a review, not a transaction. Most submissions are not selected for a given issue, and selection is never promised in exchange for anything.
Send the talk
Include, in your note: the talk title, a one-paragraph description, the three pillars, a link to the talk film or the plan to produce it, and your one-sheet. The desk replies from hello@speakerrealm.com.
